digital cameras often offer full auto mode. This is the simplest
mode for casual photography for simple snapshots of family events
and vacations. Full auto mode cameras do not allow for adjustments
such as exposure compensation
Cameras with auto mode
can be specifically for Picture Control or Subject mode. These are
for specific sujbects such as portrait or landscape.
These modes in digital cameras affect exposure as well
as other functions such as flash, focus, and focal length.
