But how about
in a photo of an animal
? Maybe the emotion isn't obvious there. In this case your goal
is to capture that certain "pose" that creates an emotional

Your goal is
to cause an emotional response from the viewer of your photography.
When you have mastered such a skill, you will be a potential candidate
for an exhibit in a gallery.
If having your
creations on exhibit is not your goal, imagine the fun you can have
with emotion in even simple family photographs. Be prepared though.
When you have a gift for getting results people gravitate toward
you and ask you to do photographing for them. Think about what you
want to charge if you do say yes to these people.
When looking
for photography ideas look beyond the surface. On the surface ideas
may include people, animals, objects, etc. These ideas are merely
topics. But a great photography idea goes beyond the surface
and creates something amazing escaping the usual surface ideas.
