Digital Camera: Card Readers

A card reader is the fastest and simplest way to download the images from your memory card. It's easy to use and operates in a similar way as traditionally dropping off your film for processing.

Simply take the memory card out of your camera and put it into the card reader. Once downloaded into the card reader, you can save the images in a folder on your computer.

If you don't own a computer you can take the memory card to a lab where you can download the images and make prints.

Walgreen's drugstore has a minilab in the store where you can put your digital camera memory card in and order the prints right there while you wait. Labs are a quick way to get immediate copies of photos taken of friends and family.
