The type of
autofocus selected affects the speed of a digital camera. Some digital
cameras allow both single or continuous autofocus and others will
not.
There are three
types of AF available today. One is only available with SLR digital
cameras. The three types are:

a lot of action shots, you will want a camera with both single and
continuous AF types or an SLR digital camera.
